Registering a sale costs 3% of the property value. Here is the rest.

  • Registering a sale costs 3% of the property value.
  • A gift between first-degree relatives, or a will, costs a flat OMR 20.
  • Registering a mortgage costs 0.5% of the mortgage value, capped at OMR 100,000.
  • The Ministry also lists fixed fees: OMR 5 to apply, OMR 10 for the new title deed, OMR 2 for the contract, and OMR 25 for the sale form when the buyer is not Omani.
