2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry or contact form, or ask us to list your property, we collect your name, phone number, email address, your message, your preferred contact method, and the property or listing you are asking about.

Instagram and social interactions

If you comment on one of our posts on Instagram, we receive your Instagram username and the text of your comment. We use this to send you a private reply with the property details you asked about, and to record your interest so an agent can follow up. We only act on comments on our own posts.

Information collected automatically

When you use the site we may collect device and usage information, such as pages viewed, browser type, and approximate location from your IP address, through cookies and similar technologies. We process your IP address to keep the service secure and to prevent abuse. If something goes wrong, our error monitoring tools may record technical details of the error. If you reach us from an online advertisement, we may receive an advertising click identifier so we can measure which campaign helped.

3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes. Essential cookies make the site work, for example security tokens, your session, and your language preference; these are always on. Analytics and advertising tools help us understand how the site is used and measure our marketing.

Subject to your consent, the analytics and advertising tools we use may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity may record anonymized interactions such as clicks and scrolling to help us find usability problems. Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, also processes traffic data to deliver and protect the site.

This section explains how we handle data from our Instagram business account, in line with Meta's Platform requirements.

• We only read and act on comments left on our own posts.
• When you comment, we may send you one private reply (a direct message) with the relevant property details and a way to reach an agent.
• Commenting is your choice. Our captions invite you to comment if you want details; we do not message people who have not interacted with us first.
• We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than replying to you and following up on your enquiry.
• To opt out, simply do not comment, or contact us at info@tamlikoman.com to ask us to delete your information.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed: with our agents, so they can respond to your enquiry; with service providers who help us run the site and our marketing, such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, Cloudflare, our error monitoring provider, and our email provider, who may process your information only on our behalf; and for legal reasons, where required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. We do not sell your personal information.

Some of our service providers operate outside Oman. Where your information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in line with this policy.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage our relationship, and after that only as long as required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's standard retention settings.
